The head of the company Mercedes-Benz in Russia Jurgen Zauer said that in the latest negotiations in Stuttgart, it was decided to conclude a fairly important agreement for Russian gas between the leaders of both companies. In accordance with it, already after 1, 5 years at the GAZ Group plant in Nizhny Novgorod, the assembly of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cars will begin.
The preliminary agreement on the assembly of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model was signed back in 2010, but so far no news on this project has been received. It is curious that the company’s services will also be painting a car in a different color for previously released cars.
At the beginning of 2012, the German giant Mercedes-Benz published complete information in the official press-release large world automobile magazines. Only now it is only known that Sprinter cars manufactured in the Russian Federation will also be sold through the Mercedes-Benz dealer network.
Agreement on the beginning of the production of the Sprinter model at the GAZ plant signed last year.
Recall that this model is available with a diesel and gasoline engine, with a capacity of 65 to 190 horsepower and fuel consumption from 7 to 13 liters of fuel, depending on the type of engine and movement.
