In the mid-90s of the last century, GM (General Motors) brought into a completely updated series of new two-door, frame, frame pickups, with a wheelbase increased from the previous generation to 2985mm-it was a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe.
This car combined a lot and the comfort of a car, as well as the strength and power from SUVs. And the name of this masterpiece came from Lake Tahoe, the pearls of California. But already in 1998, the release of this car ceased due to their bulk, and their place was safely taken by the GMC Jimmy and Chevrolet Blazer, it was a compact and comfortable series of SUVs.
And only 9 years after the release of this unique SUV was stopped, the company decided to resume its production and in 2007 launched the first cars on sale. But here it is already said about the completely new, updated Tahoe, which has a completely new GMT900 platform, where only Cadillac cars gathered before the Chevrolet Tahoee. Already in mid -2008, the Chevrolet Tahoe hybrid with a V8 V8 engine was published – 6 liters. This SUV had its own individual image, streamlined body.
It was also equipped with an additional trunk on the roof and the rear view mirrors, the shape of which was specially designed to reduce the resistance of the wind. The car went on sale in 9 different shades. Also, manufacturers took care of the interior of this car, an exquisite and surprisingly beautiful interior decoration, only high -quality materials, also applied the innovation in sound insulation. Also, the designers did not forget about safety, or rather safety systems, they installed airbags for passengers sitting in front, which were opened in two steps, side pillows, or as we used to call them “curtains” worked only if the car turned over. The designers provided for everything necessary to combine the comfort and elegance of the city car and the frisky nature, the power and strength of a good SUV.
