How Dalyan has become the largest Chinese port city
It is noteworthy that Dalyan was founded in 1898 on the site of a small settlement of fishermen. Many leading specialists (architects, city builders) considered Dalyan one of the few cities built not only in accordance with the plan, but also beautifully. Very soon he turned into a large port and a prosperous center of trade. After 1905, according to the results of the Russo-Japanese War, Dalyan departed to Japan; In 1945 he was liberated by Soviet troops. After that, he had the status of a free Chinese port, and five years later he was finally transferred by the USSR authorities in China.
It is not very difficult to get to the city, not far from it is an international airport that accepts flights from large settlements of the PRC, as well as Japan, Korea and even from Vladivostok (seasonally).
