What attracts the architecture of the ancient city of Chester
Guests of the city get the opportunity to inspect the fortress walls, see the ruins of the amphitheater, which once took up to 7,000 spectators. Not far from the amphitheater there are Roman gardens – the territory where the remnants of public buildings, fragments of Roman baths and other ancient structures discovered during archaeological excavations were transferred during archaeological excavations.
Chester’s architectural pearl – dedicated to Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Cathedral of the Cathedral, which since 1541 has been the center of religious life of the city and diocese. The complex acquired the current appearance during the reconstruction, which began in 1250 and continued for 250 years. The sanctuary has an old luxurious library available for tourists studying.
