Porsche 911 is a truly legendary model for a German auto giant. Starting with the very first version of the car, the model was one of the most prestigious options for role -playing races and as a city sports car. The most popular in the late 80s was 911 Carrera RSR.
The new version of Porsche 911 almost in the finished “serial” form was already seen several times on German autobahns, where, most likely, an updated model was tested. It is worth noting that only the headlights were covered with translucent stickers, which in turn even issued a car and his newly born state. The repair of the body of the new model itself is practically not noticeable. It is possible that the developers have not yet made the only decision on the form of headlights, so they decided to hide this detail of the design so far.
The new model is not very different, in fact, from the previous generations of the model. So, for example, Porsche 911 of 2011 (or even rather 2012, because it will most likely go to the conveyor next year), they give out side headlights, which are located slightly lower and the front ones, which turned out to be more elongated.
This is understandable, because fans of the Porsche series (and usually quite wealthy businessmen) would not want the appearance of the model to change significantly. True, do not think that the difference between the previous generation and the new 911 is not. The filling, and the character of the car underwent significant changes: the height of the car decreased, the body became greater, which makes it more aggressive and sports in appearance. The developers plans to appear in the German car “Kers”, which is also used in Formula-1 car.
The base model will include a 3, 6-liter 6-liter engine, which previously produced 345 horsepower replaced 3, 4-liter with 350 “horses” with injection. Practical ones are the same on Boxster S.
3, a 5-liter unit with 385 horsepower, which was supplied with the Serrera S Seri, will be replaced by a 6-liter with 400 “horses”.
It is expected that the new Porsche 911 will be represented by the world at the international salon in Frankfurd in the fall of 2011. In the meantime, only photos of Porsche 911 and dreams of his purchase are available to reporters and you and I have access to us.
