Chevrolet introduced its new 5-door version of the Chevrolet Cruze, which was presented to the audience’s court at the last international car dealership in France. As often happens, the experimental version was presented in the cabin, which may differ from the serial model of the new Cruze.
After some time, at another large car dealership in Geneva, a serial car was already shown, which could be “felt” and even try. The price of the basic version of the hatchback begins with 14,000 pounds, which is translated into rubles about 676,000. For this money, you can definitely find apartments for rent in Kyiv or even a private house.
Specialists who participated in the development of a new five-door car note that the creation and configuration of the model is similar to cars that were prepared for the stages of the WTCC racing version, which took place as during the presentation of the model in the salons-July 15-17. Of course, this is rather an advertising trick than real data … although who knows.
Chevrolet Cruze sedan and hatchback are represented immediately in 3 versions: Cruze Ltz, Cruze LT and Cruze LS.
The main trump card was an updated trunk, the volume of which reached 413 liters. For comparison, competitors such as: Mazda 3 can boast of only 340 liters, Volkswagen Golf – 350 liters and Opel Astra – 370 liters. Agree that the difference is sensitive.
In the “heart” of the new car, a 1, 6-liter engine with a capacity of 124 horsepower beats, another equipment is already equipped with 1, 8-liter, with 141 “horses”, as well as a turbodiesel-163 “horses”.
The basic version is represented by a 5-speed “mechanics”. In addition, 2 other engines at once are equipped with a 6-speed automatic and mechanical gearbox.
In the market of the Russian Federation, the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback will appear in the first half of 2012. The price of the car is not yet known, but experts note that most likely the cost of the basic configuration will be in the mark of 640,000 – 670,000 rubles.
