German Daimler published official prices for a “charged” version of the 4-door compartment of Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG, which was presented to the world on the Los Angeles Autonomous Republic in November 2010.
It is worth noting that the basic equipment of this model is characterized by quite high dynamic qualities, which can be safely compared with the most expensive sports premium – cars in this class.
During the production of this model, the automaker refused to install an already outdated 8-cylinder engine, a volume of 6, 3 liters and a total capacity of 514 horsepower. Instead of the “ancient” version, you can now see the latest motor with good characters: 5, 5 liters, 525 horsepower, 2 turbochargers, with a 7-band the automatic machine AMG Speedshift MCT. By the way, the latter can achieve the highest indicators of torque – 700nm.
Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4. 0 seconds, while speed limiters are at a mark of 250 km/h. These are the standards of professional security in Germany, as in European countries as a whole. Against this background, the fuel consumption indicators look relatively good – about 9, 9 liters per 1 km/h along the highway. By the way, this is more than 10% more than the previous version of Mercedes-Benz CLS. This is primarily due to the use of Start & Stop technology along with an updated engine.
In addition, the happy owners of the new 4-door compartment will be able to get the AMG Perfomance package (brake pads made of composite materials, aluminum thresholds with LED backlight, lacquered inserts in a natural wood salon, sports spoiler, cast discs and even carbon parts body), though as an additional option for 7 thousand dollars. Yes, it’s expensive, but the owners of the novelty are not at all poor people – such an unit can easily give out more than 800 nm of the maximum torque and already 557 “horses”.
In Germany, Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is asking for at least 115, 8 thousand euros for the “standard” equipment. The amount already includes all tax deductions. It is not yet known about prices for Russia, although with this cost the export will be an unit.
